Hi,can someone tell me what the 98 kx250 frame no should be,ive got the chance of one and have been told its kx250-02**** shoudnt it have a letter before the nos,i know the 94-98 are the same to look at so can someone give me some advice,thanks.

I believe the 1996-1998 had a TPS, you should see a wire going to the carb. Kawasaki may have started the TPS in 1997 though, if it has no wires going to the carb it is older. Also the 1997-1998 had different number plates, if you can look up some pics of these different years you can tell just by looking at them, they look quite different.

Unfortunately the VIN #'s for you are usually different than in North America. Over here thet 10th digit of a bike that is a 98 model would be W.

hi,guys thanks for your input,the guy just emailed me and said the no is kx250k2-1827,ive looked it up and i reckon its a 95 model,its on **** at the moment(over here in the uk)and not far from me,am i right with the year?
