'99 to '01 two-stroke stock KTM pipes

Anyone know if the pipes are interchangeable between '99 and '01 KTM 250s and 300s? I like my stock pipe on my '01 300 MXC but I have a few dents in it and now a small crack. A buddy of mine has the stock pipe from his '99 250 EXC and was curious if anyone knows they're the same pipe? Thanks!

I've been trying to do the same thing the other way around!
FMF & Doma have different part numbers for the year change after '99.

I used a 250EXC -01 pipe on a -97. so my opinion is that at least from 97 up to -02 the pipes are almost identical in geometry. There is a small need for creativity as the montings are not 100% exactly the same, but not really something to worry about.
