My first time out on a Pocket bike and all I can say is that they are way to much fun! Although this one was old, only 25 cc's, and only had rear brakes, it was a blast. They are really hard to ride (they get very bad headshake if you hold on too tight) and go too fast for my own safety (on a downhill about 40 mph!).

I want one!!! The problem, they are too expensive to have as a toy. :(

Has anyone else ridden one? Anyone know where to get parts for this particular brand (Dandy)?

BTW, after having a close call in the sand on the side of the road, I put on my riding gloves and pants.

They are alot of fun. The local dealer by me has some racing ones. They are made by Polini. They are liquid cooled, 12 horsepower, hydro disk brakes, etc. They really rip. They are almost impossible to keep from looping out. The one I was riding barely moved my butt around.
They do still race them. I found a web site with some funny video of some guys racing modified ones in NYC. I will see if I can find it again.
They only weight 20 pounds too!
