Last Christmas, for my daughter, I put the PW under the kitchen table.
After all the gifts are opened the entire family goes into the dinning room & has breakfast. I let my wife "drop" a fork & asked Dori to pick it up.
I then spent all of Christmas day teaching her how to ride.
:)

For my son (4 Christmas' ago) I put a PW out by the wood pile. I did not let anyone open any gifts until we had a fire going & of course I did not bring in enough wood. :debil:

This year I am stuffing a TTR90 into my bedroom closet. after all the gifts are opened, I will have my son check for any "missed" packages.

I did almost the same thing last year for my son. He was praying for a bike all year and was sure he was getting one. On Christmas morning he opened a package and found a toy model of the bike he wanted. Boy was he disappointed, thought he was going to cry for a sec. After my older son quit laughing I asked the younger one to get something for me out of my closet. I didn't see him again for a 1/2 hour and you should have seen the look on his face. I think I started crying in happiness at that point...:D

Heres how I was gotten in 1978...X-mas came and the gifts were open and everything was settling down. All my older brothers and sister came over as normal for dinner. it was like 2 pm in the afternoon and my brother who lived here asked me to go into the basement to grab his smokes and lighter...well I noticed he had a pack of smokes and lighter with him...so it was NO WAY!!!
a minute passed and he said go get my smokes or I will beat your ________!
Well I feared him to no end...So I went to his room to grab the smokes and there she was ...............a new bike.......... I couldnt believe it ..it was real...I seen a invoice from the Honda dealer weeks before and sort of got an Idea something was up ...but by the time noon hit that day I was long off the idea of gear or a bike... That will be a day I will never forget.

All cool ideas!

I think that by now, I am the one who is more excited! It looks like the garage idea will work for us. I am going to send him out to the garage with that large black trash bag of wrapping paper from the morning package carnage, but I will beat him out there so I can get that savored snap shot of his face when he see's it! Yeah, I'm geeked over it!:) :) :)
He still has NO idea!;)

My dad went over to the bike as i finidhed opeining my other presentsand said "Hey Whats That???" I ran over to him and saw my shiny bike and flipped!!

WAY TOOOO COOL!

Guys, it was awsome!!! Here is how it went down!,
I told my wife to send him out to the garage with the trash, and I already was out there for about a minute, before he came out. I was hiding behind the bike, crouched down, poised to take that picture! he came around the car to dump the trash, and he caught a glimpse of it out of the corner of his view, and stopped, and turned to see it full. in that brief moment, his eyes got REALLY big, he took a pretty good breathe, and I snapped it! man, it's good! I had a note taped to it stating he had to share it with his mother, and to ride carefully. I'm not gonna lie to you all, it brought a tear to my eye. Lou, you got it wrong, I took it for a ride!LOL! We gonna go riidin most likely tomorrow!
Now, I got a bunch of digital shots of it, how do I attach it to my post???

My 10 year old cousin just got my 01 xr 80 for his christmas. My grandparents house was on the otherside of the lake, from his house. His mom told him to close his eyes, she then tied a blindfold around him, and led him to the house and into the room where the bike was. He opened his eyes and screamed! (For Joy of course)
