Rich,
I have been using Turbo Blue 110 as it is easy for me to obtain.
I hate this stuff. My supplier lets his tank sit empty all winter.

I have been trying some additives with Amaco (93 ron/mon)Premium pump fuel.
I have found one that seems to give me some more consistant throttle response than I can get out of others. Being a fuel weenie with less than a good clue, I would like to see if you have any opinion on the make-up of this stuff.

Petroleum Solvent Cas#8008-20-6
2-Propanol Cas#67-63-0
MTBE Cas#1634-04-4
Aliphatic Diolefin Cas#26472-00-4
(respectively)

Petroleum Solvent Cas#8008-20-6 = Kerosene - This should be avoided at ALL costs. This is a common additive in those BS Lead Substitute products.

2-Propanol Cas#67-63-0 = Isopropyl alcohol - A common additive in fuel driers like HEET. BAD idea to dump this in your race bike.

MTBE Cas#1634-04-4 - An excellent fuel additive from a performance and response standpoint, but it's unpredictable when used in pump fuels.

Aliphatic Diolefin Cas#26472-00-4 - I'm pretty sure this is a resin oil used in asphalt production. It also shows up in Lead Substitute products. (someone correct me if my memory is spooging)

My advice, lose this crap asap. Sorry.

BTW - Is that the CD2 additive ?

SO, if I want to clean my chain or dilute my driveway coat..... :)

I am having a hard time with my local VP guys, they are into multi-cylinder performance and they only want to fool with drums of fuel.
The Kotz guy is willing to work with me on a deal if I go to Ft. Wayne and pick it up...shipping costs makes it less than desireable.

Any suggestions?

I just may look into that option as I call on the Corvette plant occasionally.
Thanks.
