Hi guys,
a friend of mine has a '94 Rm 250,and i want to help him set it up for enduro/woods riding.
We are going to put in softer fork springs & play around with the oil heights, also, try and get so fly wheel weights.
Any of you that have tied this,or, any advice greatly appreciated,

Great Anything but Motocross Bike!

You'll have more fun with the early years ( pre-1996). I've had a1994 myself and the Showa forks work better with less compression dampening. Those darn dual-chamber forks were never meant to be short of difficult for motocross. Anyways, here's some suggestions:

*Stock springs front & rear ( turn comp. clickers 9-14out on the forks!)
*Procircuit Pipe w/ FMF Turbine core spark arrester/ silencer
( Put your flywheel money into the pipe purchase; the RM's light clutch pull and PC power delivery will never be a problem. I had a Stealthy flywheel and took it off; though for that model they're easy to install...so ???)
*Boyesen Rad Valve or Power Reeds. The Pro Series reeds will make the bike hit in the mid-range!
*With these mods you can goto a 14t countershaft sprocket! 49/50t rear; and keep up with the other 250cc bikes on the Fire Roads.
*BR8ES NGK spark plug:p
