I am going to modify the air box lid on my '06 KDX200 per the hop-up guide on the site. Does anyone know if any jetting changes are required after this mod? Thanks, Brian
If you're jetting is spot on or at least close where you live with the stock lid, cutting some holes in it probably won't make much of a difference. Give it a try and see how it runs.
My KDX is bone stock, and it is plug-fouling rich at 200 ft MSL in the heat and humidity. I am hesitant to change my jetting right now for fear that whatever works now will be lean once it cools off a little and the humidity goes down, but I would speculate that if you are running the stock jetting adding a little airflow will be nothing but an improvement.
