Hi All,

Does any one know if there is an alternative thing i can use to clean my air filter with other than the expensive filter cleaners , not that im cheap just that i have to race to a tighter budget this year due to a new arrival :yikes: and any money saved means more racing.

Any help or advise would be great.

Many thanks
Chris ..........

I've seen some gas eat filters.. Maybe they were just old... I use parts wash, dip it in swirl it around and bam, with in 10 seconds that thing looks like new...

If you need a solvent: gas, kerosine, turpintine, mineral spirits.

Any degreaser: simple green, purple power, ect...

I use NOTOIL, now I clean my filters in the kitchen sink with TIDE.
