i have an 89 kx250 and i just had the whole top and bottom end rebuilt by a dealer... so it would be done right... anyway, when i ride it, it sounds like there is some sort of air sound like a low hum, like wind rushing by. it does this even when in neutral and the motor is idling, it isn't loud enough to hear when it revs up though. any ideas on why this is happening and if it is a problem let me know. thanks

An air leak would be much more likely to show itself by improper running, not by the actual sound of air moving. An air leak will usually show itself as a lean condition; pinging, surging, and occasionally higher than expected RPMs.

What you hear might be the "normal" sound coming from the intake. Remove the seat and listen to see if that's it. Oh wait....some KXs use to have an airbox cover on the side. If that's it, remove the airbox cover (but not the filter) and see if the sound changes.
