I do a lot of ridding in the mountains between 3,000' and 9,000' on an older IT250 (which is a good enough ride for now) the bike obvliously gets sick at high altitude. The majority of the ridding is in the valley so it makes sence to jet for that.
I know that most new snowmobiles come with altitude compensated carbs. Is there any such aftermarket beast or is it possible to pirate one from a sled and adapt it? Or should I just keep the rpm,s up and ride forgetting the whole issue utill I spring for a new ride?
thanks bake
