AMA Events ?

  Hey , can I post news about AMA events here ?  We are putting together a new series out west and if everything goes well it will be a $62,000.00 total advertized series purse.

I think to introduce a new event or to start off a series like a big kick off type thing should be ok. Course if it gets to much outa hand we mite have to look at it but diffently open to new information. Thats what this whole gig is about is getting out the word!

Great , We have been working our butts off to get this
new series together and we can use all the support we can get.
   The North American Hillclimbers Assc. has been re-organized as a Non -Profit Riders group and we are going to be applying for an AMA Charter and encourage all the Clubs / Promoters to host AMA events.  
   Hillclimbing has endured as one of the original --EXTREME-- sports over the years , it has almost died off out west with all the land lock ups etc.
   April 8 & 9th,2000 in Tracy,Ca. we will be holding our first event in this new series;  AMA / NAHA Western PRO-AM Championship Hillclimb series. The Pro purse will be $16,000.00,, the promoter , Skip Horne has a web site with his bike shop with more info , it is http://www.skipsatcarnegie.com/  .
   The next event will be here in Wyoming if the BLM will quit dinking us around, not giving us a permit. Then Hollister,Ca.,Billings, Mt.and back to California to Donner Ski ranch. All together if we can pull everything together we will have five events this year and a total series purse of ---$62,000.00  !!

  Whare is tracy, ca. North? South?  Near what city?

Tracy is south west of Sacramento , a little west of Stockton which is northern Ca.
