AMA selling out their pro racing programs

Anybody seen this?
Guess they want to focus on fighting helmet laws.

Oh man next year they will have restrictor plates on bikes. Then half way thru the season they will take the top 10 riders and exclude EVEYONE else from championship contention.
(just kidding I hope--the entity that runs NASCAR is going to be managing the AMA racing programs)

Ive heard mixed sentiments from people about the future of AMA pro racing, including outdoor motocross. Some say the AMA has done a lousy job with the racing anyway, but I dont know.
What do you guys think?
