question about this oil, i was running a 32:1 ratio in my yz250 with the standard yamaha 2r oil, but switched to the amsiol synthetic. now amsiol calls for a 50:1 ratio when using this oil, is anyone else using this oil and if so is the 50:1 ratio good or should i up it to a 40 or a 44

thanks

Railrider, my uncle is an amsoil dealer, i had the same question with my'01 honda 125 which calls for a 32;1 mix. When i presented the question he told me to mix it 32;1 just like any other oil. This mix was with their Interceptor brand, i ran a season of moto on this with no problems, fouling or scarring of the cylinder. If you still feel un easy about using this mix i have run the Honda HP2 synthetic which specifically calls for heavy mix and that too worked very well. Good luck
