Hi guys - to show due respect and appreciation for KIWIBIRDS excellent guiding and total unselfishness I decided to start my California ride report over on the South Cal site - you will find it under "South Cal Wrecking Crew" (GREAT NAME THERE KIWI) in the western sites! I will continue the writing on our site VERY soon!!
I hope you get even a small percentage of the enjoyment I had actually living it!
THANKS KIWI!!

come on Woodsman! Don't leave us hanging. Now I'm going to have to actually do real work, here at work. :) I'll check back later for the update.

BTW, I don't know if Eddie has had a chance to completely diagnose his bike problems, but his bike was making a whirring sound when we rode together in Tenn, back in April.

Eddie got a new motor. I'm heading over to help with putting it back together.

KiwiBird: If you get a chance I'd like to see the inside of the cases / failure. I'd like to see what went south. I checked around a few other boards following this thread. I had a similar failure last fall on my Husaberg except my counter balancer didn’t go through my case, But it could have! My counter balancer driver shaft bearing failed. And the same basic symptoms loud whirling noise, oil allover the out side of the case. Then I dumped it on its side on a small up hill. Went to restart it and she locked up tight! The ball bearings from the bearing failure ended wedging between the counter balancer and the bottom of my case. If the bike had restarted it would had been ugly! Thanks for taking Woodsy on such a fine adventure, if you ever make to Michigan we owe you a great ride!
