do you know who owned it and how they did there maintence? did they beat the crap out of it. or did they take care of it? did you get to ride it? this isnt always true in every case but, if they let it fall to pieces cosmetially they might not have take care of if mechanically. i dont mean the bike has to look like it just rolled out of the show room. but, if they things is soaked with dirt and oil and sat like that for two years isnt a good sign.
those things should be your concern. because the bike is older and if it was treated like crap is doesnt matter how good of an engine they were.
