Can anyone recommend a good place to ride in North Alabama that has some good singletrack and some tight stuff? Every place around here is wide open four-wheeler trails.

Our offroad motorcycle club, the Bushwackers, makes routine riding trips to different places and would like to find some new areas to ride. This weekend we'll be at Land between the Lakes if anyone would like to join us.

Check with the guys at NATRA and nariders. There is a place about an hour from Huntsville that's single-track heaven.
It's actually in Tennessee and it's called Skyline.
Skystutts can hook you up if you can find him.

Julius,

Wasn't Skyline shut down recently?

One of the NARiders guys has put together a lease deal that would allow people to ride for a small fee. I'm not sure of the details, but most of the original loop will be open for use.

That is some of the best single-track I've ever ridden. I was starting to recognize parts of the trail when they shut it down.

The lease deal is a recent development, so you may want to check the egroup 'nariders' at egroups.com for more info.

OOPS! It's now 'Yahoogroups'. Is NOTHING sacred?
