Any riding around Washington D.C.?

I recently located a job opportunity around D.C. and was wondering if there is any good off-road riding around there. I am a serious trail rider, not a motocrosser.

There are a couple of places out side the beltway in maryland. Virginia is not to far but i'm not sure where to ride there. Also, Budds creek is about an hour outside of DC and they have enduros for trailriders...

There are at least 4 riding areas in the national forests in Va. The ones around Edinburg and Harrisonburg are the closest to you.The North Virginia Trail Riders have a web site. I think its www.nvtr.org.

Thanks for your input. I didn't want to move somewhere that does not have reasonably accessable off-road riding.
