This will be interesting to see how it develops with the rumored 250 RFS in the works. Development costs would be pretty low, being that it would basically be a 125 with a bigger jug, maybe longer rod, and a few odds and ends. Although it would not be legal in the 125 class, it would still seem to almost fit the same niche as the 250 RFS in that it's basically a 125 with more breadth to the powerband. And the future seems to be going towards valves and cams. For vets it could be a tough choice.
Perhaps some marketing buffs could shed some more light on this.
