I don't have time to get into great detail, but here it is. I ordered a set as a birthday present for myself in November. Followed the adjustment procedure, went for a ride. They felt a little funny at first, because I've never worn any kind of brace. The second time I rode, I didn't tighten the laces as much and they were more comfortable to me.

Now, after a few months, I can't be without them. I don't even know they're on. I switched to pants that go over the boot and it helped me a bunch as far as roominess. The bottom line is,and this was unexpected on my part, my knees do not hurt like they used to. It got to the point where riding 2 days in a row was almost out of the question. Now I can ride everyday if the rest of my body could take it! Money well spent, no BS!
