Atlanta Supercross, Amature Day, Feb 24
I just discovered that the CMC is promoting amature days at Anaheim (3) and Atlanta. I'm just curious if anyone has raced either one of these. I am also wondering if the track is going to be the same for pros, and amatures. (most arenacrosses are toned down for amature day). Anybody got a clue? I don't know about those races, but I race the Pontiac am. days and they tone it down quite a bit. They cut the whoops way down and make most of the triples into pretty good size doubles. It's really a good time.

Thanks for the reply... I figured they would, but I wasn't sure, it kind of sucks that they tone down the triples, but smaller whoops will be a little safer :) I suppose it also depends on the sanctioning body.

I've never raced one at one of these before, but I am going to attempt to race at the Atlanta Amateur day on 2\24. I have also talked my brother into it as well. Hopefully it is toned down ALOT, or I'll be taking a seperate ride home in a white van with lights! :) I am looking forward to it, even if I have to roll just about everything. It is just something that I gotta try. I have been dying to race on a Pro SX Track since I can remember even if it is cut down a little. It does'nt matter if I stay mid pack or get my rear end lapped off, it'lll be worth it. I can't wait!
