Had a bad crash at Mosier a few weeks ago and broke my collarbone.:( It appears that I bent the right handlebar mount on my 01 KDX 200. I am looking for suggestions/advise. Should I replace the mount with a stock mount or should I spend the cash and go for an after market triple clamp and mounts? Please advise.

Have you taken it apart to verify that it's bent? I had the same thing happen and the clamp was just pushed back in the rubber bushings. I took it apart and reassembled...everything is straight now.

You are getting good advice. Remove the bolts from the bottom of the clamps, loosen everything up then reassemble and off you go. Chances are slim the clamp is bent.

You might consider installing a one-piece bar clamp to help prevent things from twisting so easily. Fredette sells them or any KX one piece clamp will fit as well.

If you are running stock handlebars still don't be surprised if they are a little out of shape.
