Anyone running at Battle Creek this weekend?

I'm planning on going if the body holds together, Wed. is practice nite & the last two practices have been hard on the body!

Great track ran it last year kind of sandy about 4.5 miles long.

any motocross sections? tight woods? by the way see you guys are both locals we have a group that rides every wednesday night, meet at 6 at the supply road trail head if you are interested.

We ride every Wed. someplace different every week, planing on rideing the Fife Lake loop tonight. I'll check with every one mabe we'll change.

Don had a group of 8 at Supply Road last night, good ride, planning on hitting it again next wed at 6.

Three of us rode the Fife Lake Loop, good ride! Was thinking of riding the Evart loop next Wed. but it looks like I will be out of town on business. It also depends on if the the body heals after Battle Creek.

How did you guys do at Battle Creek? When I raced hare scrambles, I had some of my better results at that track.

I just started racing last year. Just finishing a race is good enough for me but I finished 19th out of 31 riders.
Had alot of fun :silly: The woods section was really rutted up. Can't wait until Mio so I don't have to drive so far.

Whats wt racing like? Is it tighter than battle creek, motocross or not etc?

Raced H class, my partner hit a tree hard on the first lap, snapped off the rear brake lever, rode the rest of the race without rear brakes, we finished but sure we didn't do very well.

I placed 20th out of 31 with 4 laps. I could have beat Don if I didn't slow down. The woods were very choppy and rutted, otherwise it was a good race. My friend Chase, his brand spanking new KX125 blew up 2 miles into the woods. he WAS in second. :whiner:

is that the chase I meet @ leota? if it was, he has the worst luck with green bikes! is battle creek a "pay" trail/track or open ride area?
