Alright, with all this photo talk going on around here I decided to try to get some decent shots rather than just anything.
The camera is nothing spectacular, no special lens. It's a Cannon Powershot A95. Even though it's nothing great, I still wouldn't mind getting critiqued so I can get the best shot I can out of this camera.
This picture is from a flyin that I attended this past weekend. the man in the foreground is the owner/builder of the RV in the picture.
Doesn't look like you had the best light to work with, image is pretty flat and soft.
What mode did you shoot with? DOF could be a little more shallow to lose the background clutter (people, etc), better yet, pay attention to the background when you shoot :) . As Dave said, watch for reflections. Your camera can get to f/2.8, you "should" be able to improve on the shot a little, maybe a "portrait" mode?

Thump, what did you use to get rid of the background stuff? Is that the stamp tool or whatever cause that is the one thing I cant figure out for my life in PS
