Crashed last weekend and bent my Pro Taper Bars, is there any way that I can bend them back into shape, throttle side has to move about 3 inches at the bar end or are they toast. I have straightened older single wall bars back into shape before but I have no experience with the Taper Bars

I'd just buy a new pair and save the hassle of bending them back into shape.

Well OK I'll look into some new bars but I have a Pivot Works kit on order for my linkage and new throttle housing parts (pulley etc) comming for the parts that got broke when I crashed ...and the bars...I'll add it to the list...thats it I'm NEVER CRASHING AGAIN!!!! (famous last words) :) :) :)

Thanks for the opinions guys

No the tube stayed intact, probably thanks to the bark busters (homemade) and to be honest I am suprised that I bent the bars with the guards on, they are anchored to the top of the triple clamps and are made out of 1"X3/8" bar aluminum :ugg:
