Bent Plugs

[Top End]

Alright on my big bad 82 DS 50. It will sputter out and when I take the plug out the the hook is bent in to the other queery. I bent it back out and put it in numerous time sit keeps bending it andsputtering out again. I am thinking its a Carbon build up but I don`t feel like takingapart the top End because I don`t want to make a new gasket for it. what do you guys think.

Try buying a new plug...make sure its the right SIZE though first.. if that doesnt work take the top end apart and check it, if you dont feel like take it to your local dealer/shop and get it checked out. It shouldnt cose too much

Fixed. there was just some rock or something on the top of the piston.

???.... wow.... how would that happen?... how is it that didn't destroy your head/piston/jug etc..??

A rock or something? I believe I would still take a look at the top end. Nothing good can come from a foreign debris in the jug.
