The XR250 is an excellent trail bike, they are low maintenance, reliable, and have very controllable power. As you may be aware, Honda stopped manufacturing the XR series in 2004. There is no such thing as a CRF250F. Honda manufactures the CRF250R and CRF250X. Without writing an essay about the 2...long story short, the R is set up for motocross racing and the X is set up for trail riding. These bikes are expensive to maintain...they require frequent maintenance. My advise would be to buy an XR. I have a 2001 XR 400 and love the bike...stone cold reliable.

I meant to say x. I do not know why I put an F. There are way to many different models, numbers and letters. Anyway I think I will go with the Xr. They are bullet proof.
