How do you guys in CA or AZ stay cool in the hot weather? I need full gear - pants, boots, gloves and goggles when I ride my KTM and the hot weather really drains my energy. I heard Moose Sahara gear is the best for hot weather. Any input?

I go boating during the summer. Dirt biking is my winter sport.

I wear Thor Cor3 gear, Tech 6 boots, Thor Quadrant Knee pads and Chest Protector, a t-shirt, Fox Pawtector gloves, and a HJC AC-X1 helmet. It's all pretty standard gear. I may skip the knee pads on a really hot day, but hot also means slippery conditions and crashes so I prefer to wear them. The key is to stay hydrated and let your sweat do its thing.

Ditto on the boating. Except it's a different case for me. Beach in the morning, Jet skiing in the afternoon, and an evening trail ride. Doesn't get any better than that.

If I do ride in the afternoon I usually ride around streams etc. So I can't help you out there.

I have Moose Sahara gear and like it pretty well. South Louisiana riding can be a little warm and humid in the summer.

I recommend a shirt from Under Armour, HEATGEAR® BLITZ FULL TEE

It's awesome in the heat. I also have a head cap in the same material.
