I threw on a new upper tripple clamp on my RM and when I did that I also loosend the lower clamp bolts to set the fork height. I have adjusted the forks so they are at the level that I want them to be but my problem (not a hug problem) is when I tighten everything up the bars are off just a bit. So I come back, loosen everything make an adjustment and then go out again and check. Of course, it's not perfect so I have to go through the whole process again.
Is there an easy way of doing this? I was thinking of finding a pane of glass and laying it accross the fork legs to ensure them being square with each other then tightening the clamps but I haven't tried it yet.
Any secrets out there or do I just do the hit and miss game until it's right?
Thanks
