I think I need a second job. I can't keep up with all the goodies! Very nice, BTW. I like the waving effect. I just put my numbers back on the kTm, race season is upon us.

Looks good. Even better than Lou's, because it's on a Blue bike. Shhhh, don't tell Lou I said that.

Okie, what kind of frame guards you got there? Home-made? I need some.

Man, I got busted big time! :scream: Lou was posting as I was badmouthing him. ;)

Off to Sears I go!

I promise I'm not copying your bike. Nice tank/shroud graphics by the way. ;)

That's gotta be a DID or Regina Gold chain (at least, I hope it is, and not rust!)

yep, let me vent. i was going to post.."why big lou needs a beat'n" but i'll just piggy back here. you guys make this "bike project hero" stuf look waaay too easy. some idiot is liable to jump right in and find out these thing are made of, like, 100 parts or something and that aluminum is a soft metal and paint stripper really doesn't work worth a darn on the swing arm and swing arm bearing seals break when you take them out,if you're not careful and if you use your wifes new cooler as a bike stand on sat night, when she goes to her jeep on monday morning,in the garage, she will see her new cooler completely smashed and..well. i'm just saying, some idiot might try this stuf.

okie said..
I try to make up for my lack of talent by making the bike look good.
so, it's nice out last night, i'm in the garage fighting the bike and the wife's doing her thing, having a couple coors lites. i get finished, called that one a draw, and grab a coors outa my garage frig and walk out to the drive way.figure watch the sun set a bit, lick my wounds and tell the wife of my great exploits. so (long time to get here..but) i talk about trying to get the swing arm "fancy shiney" and my wife listens, takes a drink of her beer and says...." don't you think your time would be better spent trying to improve your riding skills instead of trying to make your bike pretty?"....i was,and still am speachless.!

I'm speechless too. My wife doesn't even know what riding skills are. ;)

cal,..ha! have your wife watch me ride, then it will become apparent to her that something is amiss. which brought up another point that i'll just touch on, it's the old "if this bike is too fast for you to control now,why are you trying to make it faster?" whaa-at.. :moon:
