I have a 1980 175KDX - an old girl I picked up for cheap.

I'm having trouble with the engine powering out - I'm lucky if I can reach 30mph!

I'm new to riding / fixing and what I've worked on is:
- new air filter
- new Boysen Reed
- new spark plug and wire
- new gas (40 to 1 mix)
- cleaned carburator
- compression test (120)

That's about all my limited bag of tricks has in it - Now I'm stuck.

From what I've read in the archives I think I'm looking at the crankcase seals needing to be replaced. Does this sound right? Any other ideas.

Sorry if this answer exists in the archieve - I wasn't sure if I was getting to the correct solution.
