Black Spooge???

I picked up an 04 CR250 a few months ago and just started it up today. I starts right up and sounds fine but I noticed a lot of black spooge coming out at the exhaust manifold. Is had been sitting for a few months so is this normal since it has not been started in while.

Most bikes come jetted very rich from the factory. If you continue to see alot of spooge from the exhaust, it probably needs to have the jetting sorted out.

Its more likely to be the slow jet I think. I'd be careful about going 2 sizes lower on the main jet.

Its best to change the silencer packing that will be soaked in oil. It will continue to spit out of the back if not changed
