I recently had to replace a tubing line that ran from the front brake hose to the front caliper. Doing this allowed most of the brake fluid to leak out. Once I had replaced the line, I was having a heck of a time trying to add fluid and bleed the system.

A friend came over with a squirt bottle & tubing on the end of it, and used it at the caliper to squit some DOT 4 up through the brake system. It came up through the master cyclinder and presto, after some tapping on the brake line/system and normal bleed procedure, I had brakes again.

Just a little trick I thought I'd pass on.

Back bleeding brakes is the best method.

I have an injection gun used for use on animals. It has a tube that comes out the bottom and i replaced the needel with a tube that i clip on to the bleeder nut, and all i have to do is put the tube in a bottle of brake fluid and pump it till it gets to the master cylinder
