Just curious to how and if any other ways to get blind bearings out without paying 250 for the puller kits Im a welder and was going to tig weld a piece of all thread on the thing then put a plate a nut on it but concerned with heating up the cast too much so scrached that idea. and the set doesn't include the 7mm for the governer bearing, and where can i find a 1/4 inch torque wrench so i can torque back to 8lbs

Backslayer.

Like Pete said, that will work just fine. Actually the heat is a good thing. It will expand the cases enough to release the grip on the bearing and make it easier to remove the bearing. When you install the new bearing, you should heat the case until you can sizzle a drop of water on the case. Freeze the bearing and it will drop right in the case. Keep in mind that the aluminum will melt at a little over 1100 degrees.

If you are a tig welder, you can also weld a bead around the inside of the outer bearing race. This will shrink the outer bearing race and the bearing will drop out.
