I was wondering how long you should let the bottom end go on a 125. Its got probally 150hrs. since it was last done. any options?.

I would check the sideplay on the connectiong rod when the cylinder is off.. I don't know off hand what the limit is..

Someone told me a good way to check is to take off the ignition cover and try to wiggle the unit from side to side if it has any play its needing to be changed out.

I would say you are due for a new rod. If it is a '99 and hasn't been rebuilt yet. Look the post in this forum from 10/9/02. You'll see what can happen.JIM-2fastracing.
