boyesen reeds

Before buying a boyesen rad valve I tried a set of 2 stage fiber glass reeds on my stock piece. Are these valves also ok to use on the rad valve (ie. replacing the worn out carbon fiber reeds that the rad valve came with?). Do the fiber glass reeds last longer than the carbon fiber? Thanks. Carbon Fiber Lasts Longer. Doesn't burn or chip as bad as Fiber

Did the Boyesen reeds add any bottom end power? Did you have to change your jetting? I also have a 01 CR250.
