Which boysen reeds are recommended for the KDX 220 with stock carb? Std or carbon? Looking to help low speed throttle response a bit. Do they break easier than OEM reeds? THANKS!
I haven't run both sets, but I believe glass generally last longer than carbon.
Boyesen's rad valve has a two piece set..carbon on top, glass on the bottom. If there's a question about which is best, might as well buy both of 'em at the same time!!
Oh...a BTW..If you've set your air screw for 'fast idle' I guarantee your bottom end response will greatly improve if you turn the screw in some.
