Break-in procedure.....huh?!

Was flipping through the owners manual on my bike last night, and I come across this little bit of info about breaking it in:

Help assure your motorcycle's future reliability and performance by paying extra attention to how you ride during the first operating day or 15 miles (25 km). During this period, avoid full-throttle starts and rapid accleration.

Huh? Am I missing something here? I always thought proper break-in was a couple hundred miles?

Must be a mis-print. My CR manual called for 1 full tank of gas for breakin.

Just checked the manual for my old 600.....it said 15 miles, too. :think
