I've done a search and found 10 million different oppinions on how to properly break in an engine. Im in the midst of ordering a new top end for my 81' RM 125 and I just wanna get an idea of how most of you here break in a bike. Alot of the things I read were "well I heard you do it this way..." So any help would be appreciated.

my routine that has worked well for years is

1. start bike and warm it up slowly
2. let cool completely
3. start bike and warm it up while riding easy
4. let cool completely
5. start bike and warm it up while riding easy with burst of aggressiveness
6. let cool completely
7. start bike and ride it like you rented it(with optional insurance)

Alright then I'll try it that way, so the first warm up just a few minutes no revving or a little bit of mild revving?
