Well four days ago I was arguing Chad was gunning for the one or two slot....now he might need surgery, how quickly things turn. SX is always a battle of attrition....but the season hasn't even started and already there may be two on the injured list. Ahhhh Chad...you Gonad!!!!!

The Factory Spectator (aka Steve Bruhn) basically confirms it on motonews.com. There a picture of an uncomfortable looking Chad taking his jersey off and sporting a shoulder brace. TFS said wait till Yamaha announce it Monday and then its official. OK...gimme that form guide....who's still in for January....

Monday mornings RacerX Seville, Spain entry list, shows that Reed is still going. But that's still pending on this official release from Yamaha.... time will tell, maybe something will come up in the next hour or so.

racerx says Reed is out for the Europe rounds of the series but should be back for Anahiem. He dislocated his shoulder and has to have orthoscopic surgery.

BTW is KW in for sure?? Has he committed to the series already??

CHAD REED INJURED

Cypress, CA (December 1, 2003) - - Team Yamaha Factory rider, and current World Supercross Champion, Chad Reed injured his shoulder in an off the track accident this past weekend. After visiting with his doctor, Reed was diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder and is scheduled for orthoscopic surgery early this week.

Chad Reed will be unable to compete in either of the World Supercross races beginning this weekend in Europe. Reed will be rehabilitating his shoulder in the coming weeks and hopes to return to Anaheim, site of his first AMA 250cc win, for the opening round of the AMA Supercross series on January 3, 2004.

KW is in for sure! :thumb:

He has already dedicated himself to this series, and has been training since Steel City.
