This question is targeted to Rich specifically, but anyones experience is apprecated.

I'm putting some kibblewhite springs and valves in my kx250f, I've seen some of your threads (Rich) on broken buckets with
the heavyer springs.

Is this a commen problem, Can I expect bucket failure even with consistant clearance inspection

My riding habits keep me pretty far away from the rev limiter most of the time.

The original OEM buckets should be replaced if you are going to any type heavier springs. The hardened buckets from Kibblewhite seem to hold up better than the OEM buckets and would be my choice. As long as the OEM buckets are replaced, and you verify that the bucket bores in the head are not out of round you should be ok.
