This weekend, April 4, is the second round of the Virginia Championship Hare Scramble Series (VCHSS) at Budds Creek, MD. This event runs not only the woods section around the Budds Creek facility but also the motocross track and the stock car track. This season we have many contingency programs that riders can participate in: EBC, Fly, Answer, MSR, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Gas Gas, Husqvarna, Pro Action, Blue Ridge Honda and a AA class payout. Red Bull will also be on hand passing out refreshments. The total contingency package for this weekend is just over $30,000.00. We also have Travis Pastrana's new video game - MTX to be given away to the Mini classes and Horizon classes (1 per class). We are also raffling off a Yamaha Motor Sport Controller to go with the video game. All proceeds benefit the Horizon Riders. Racing start at 9AM on Sunday. We have classes from Pee Wee (Horizon Riders/$5 entry/every kid gets a trophy) to AA. So come on out and enjoy a great day of hare scramble races at one of the premiere venues in the United States located in southern Maryland!
