Buying a used Bike ....

Okay guys ...
I was searching craigslist today and cam across this bike ...

I am a Honda guy but really like this bike ... does anyone own a RM that can sell me on one ? Suggestions ? Ups? Downs?

same year bike I got with also the same mods, love the bike, had it set up for woods but now is going to be a back up dune bike due to a possible thumper coming in. My 99 RM250 has never given me any issues to this day.

Havent had one myself and i dont know where you live but around here (D.C) $1500 for a 99 250 is a pretty good price, id expect to pay closer to 2k

The RM's are known for their twitchy front end, great for throwing hard into berms and corners. Later model Suzuki 2 smokes aren't known for a very smooth, friendly, or reliable powerband but can be fun bikes to play on a track with. It rally just depends on what you want the bike for, and what mods you are willing to put into the bike in order to get it to ride the way you want it...
