Does anyone know where you can buy a new bike (2002 KX500) online? I am curious if it is cheaper...

I don't know about the whole bike, but I believe that you can buy parts from Kawasaki, they are credited to your local dealer. I read this somewhere early this year, but I 'm not sure of its accuracy.

there was a site called bikes at cost or something like that, sorry can't remeber but a search will turn up something, anyways for $10 they will search their dealer base (very large) and get you the lowest price. A friend bought a Yamaha R1 this way and saved almost $1500.00

the site was bookmarked on my old computer........... enough said.

Good Luck.

I don't know about cheaper, but I have seen many dealers advertise new bikes at www.traderonline.com for some pretty good prices. I saw several '02 KX 250s by a dealer advertised for $4500.
