I bought a '91 kdx200 recently and the rear rim is dented flat; I suspect from coming down on a rock, a log, ect.. I've ridden it quite a bit and the bike still functions. However, I'd like to see if I can't massage the rim a little, and get it looking "purty" again.

I've scoured around the 'net a bit, but I can't seem to find anything related to rim repairs. My girl's kid said that stock rims are to brittle, and I'll crack it if I start messing around with it.
Any comments?

Depends on how bad it's dented. I had one repaired a few years back that was pretty banged up when it was done you could hardly tell where it was dented. Best thing to do is to go to a few of your local shops and see if they offer rim repair services.

I was gonna move it, but you solved the problem. Well done :)
