You may have noticed the style changer thing ("Skin-O-Matic", :confused: ) on the main page. I'm trying to understand why the counts are off. Seems that if you pick a style there, it works, but doesn't update the number of people using that style.

Could a few of you change the style you use for a day or two? Change it in your control panel. Post here if you do it and let me know what style you are usiing.

I tried changing in my CP, wouldn't work. I changed it on Forum Main.

OH, changed to dark one

I changed to DarkOne, but I had that already set from the forums main page, so I don't know whether it changed anything.

I tried again, no go from control panel. when I change in forum main, it still showed base in cp

Okie, it only counts it when you change it in your cp. I went back and forth doing it both ways and confirmed if you don't do it in your cp the counter doesn't see it.

I too have gone to the dark side through my cp and noticed the change the user count!

That's what I was looking for... the hack (style changer) doesn't write to the records, but through the user cp it does.

I'm a patriot kinda guy :)

I am a big fan of "Dark one" it is really nice. I changed it in my user CP I like the skinomatic feature also. I see your problem. I find it hard to believe out of 11,000 users only 10 are using Dark one. It is really nice.

Whoa! Evidently everything's working hunky-dory, because I clicked "pumpkin" under Kiwi Bird's location and stuff, and VOILA! my skin has changed! I didn't look at the counter before, so I don't know if that worked, but another toy to play with while I slack off at work! ;)

can we do something about the "spaz" skin title? maybe call it "cool", or "righteous"... under my location it just looks like you're calling me a spaz :o while everyone else is "patriotic" or "bright", etc. Not fair!
