as it says ! can i use a 2000 200 front pipe on a 89 200 ?? i need one on fit my 89 but have access to a year 2000 one very cheap , could i make it fit easily ? if the front part of the pipe is the same , where it fits into the barrell and comes round the power valve plastic cover and back along the engine thats good as i can modify the rest easily .
someone must know ??? please ?

No, it's not even close. 95+ uses a low pipe, and the 89-94 had a high pipe. discount cycle has some DG pipes for 89-94 for a very good price. I'm very happy with mine.

Do you have the stock pipe? If you gut it, the performance is quite close to an aftermarket pipe. Some say it is even better. It's pretty easy to get most dents out while it's cut up too. I felt like my DG might have added a little up top over my modded stock pipe, but it's not much if it did. The low end was certainly every bit as good with the modded factory pipe.

I have loaned a pipe from a 2006 (same as 2000) to a friend of mine who has a 93 (I think the 89 is the same as the 93) to see what mods would be needed, I will let you know the results. Unless he actually gets off his butt and signs in himself to tell you. I am fairly sure it won't fit un-modified though.
