i live in the states and am thinking of driving to canada and purchase my next bike due to the exchange rates. figure i can save about $1,500.00-$1,800.00 by doing this. Anybody done this before? What about paying taxes when you cross the border? Can you recommend a trucking company who can deliver it within a 100 miles or so from my home? Thanks for any help you can provide.

nope

I havent, but if you do you might save $200. There is menny reasons why you wont save much money. For one reason, if a bran new yz125 cost 5000 in us, it will cost 6500 to make upt he diference(sp). Then you have to pay the tax's for times over.the cand.fes and stat the us fed and state dont save much money!
