The bike will not idle at all. You have to twist the throttle almost 1/4 to get it to idle. I was thinking maybe the needle jet needed to be moved to a higher slot. The throttle cable has some slack in it also and it is adjusted all the way out. I orded a new cable but do not belive that it is the problem. Otherwise the bike runs great. Are there any carb gurus that can help me. Thanks

I have the same bike that had similar problems. First, it is jetted ridiculously rich at idle. I am now running a #40 pilot jet.(might even drop to a 35). It cleaned the idle up so you can adjust the idle stop.(the one with the black cap). Just hold the bike at above idle rev and turn the screw in. This stops the slide from dropping down in the carb and raises the idle. A little trial and error is all it takes to get the idle where you want it.
Good Luck, Darringer ;)
