A buddy of mine just got a used KTM 95 or 96 440. In order to get it started you must tip the bike over nearly on it’s side for a few second? Anyone else ever seen this? Is it normal? Is there a cure?
That was an old Husky trick I used on my Huskys.I had a 95 440 and it started first kick every time cold or hot.I did have to run straight race gas and jet accordingly because it was so sensitive to temp and altitude changes. One thing that did happen is it idled very well and one day it didnt.Turned out to be that the plastic idle screw broke off right where it contacted the slide.Might check that and your float level.
