Got this off a street bike site I'm on:

Copied from the AFM Website:

"Many AFM racers enjoy two-wheel action of all types. This post is in reference to the imminent threat of closure of a local Bay Area favorite for off-road riding (dirtbikes, ATV, 4-Wheel Drives, etc.). If you've been here before, you know that there is no other place like this anywhere (in California at least in my opinion)! Please take a second to help prevent this closure by an extremist environmental group with a "confused and misled" agenda, who has already succeeded in closing down other OHV areas in California. Once they're gone, it'll be near impossible to get these types of parks opened again, which means we'll have fewer and fewer places to enjoy our favorite past-times with our friends and families.

This week we found out that Carnegie SVRA offroad park in Tracy is being closed down due to a lawsuit brought on by an extremist environmental group. They are claiming that they are finding trace amounts of pollution in the creek, which runs 4-6 weeks a year, and drains into an open field.

Here is a link to sign a petition online to try to save the park. If you agree, please sign the petition. We need all the help we can get.

Here is a link to a news article with more details.

This literally takes less than 1 minute to sign, and it will make a world of a difference if you do. Please forward this link on to your friends and family who also share our sport so that we can get as much support as possible.

THANK YOU!!!

Dave"
